Yordas Group has over ten year’s experience in regulatory compliance. Its in-house experts provide industry-leading, high-quality regulatory information about chemical substances and how they should be managed in different countries around the world.

Yordas’ services prove invaluable to its clients - producers and distributors of products that contain chemical substances. The information Yordas provides allows them to identify safe and efficient ways to introduce new products to market and mitigate the risk of falling foul of regulatory compliance laws.

Yordas also provide comprehensive search tools and immediate updates about regulatory changes via an online portal called Yordas Hive. This has proven a big hit and Yordas want to continually expand Yordas Hive to be a portal that its clients use daily.

Over a nine-month period, We worked with Yordas to establish UX as an integral part of the business and we left a legacy that will allow them to continue to reap the benefits. We helped them to establish the following:

• Product delivery methodology
  Yordas had an immediate need to create new features for their Yordas Hive portal. We took that opportunity to define a UX-led strategy and create a solid backlog of deliverables.

• User research framework
  One of the most important tasks was to establish how Yordas should consult with its clients to make sure all new features in Yordas Hive solve the problems that genuinely need to be solved.

• Mentoring and training
  Through practical sessions and working side-by-side with mentees, we introduced core UX concepts, principles and practices, and we have shown how to think laterally and apply the knowledge in the right context in a commercial environment.

• Tooling
  We are familiar with many of the software solutions that make UXers lives easier. We drew on our knowledge to help Yordas select the right software for UX collaboration, documentation and delivery.
